Sunshine & Milder
After another cold morning with frost patches, skies will be mostly sunny today with a milder afternoon. There will be extra clouds for Sunday, along with a couple of showers around. Next week features a slow but steady warming trend, and a largely dry forecast, save for a PM shower or two during the Monday-Wednesday timeframe. It starts to look more summerlike by the end of next week.

Thursday - Plenty of sunshine & warmer; High in the mid 70s; Low in the lower 50s
Friday - Mostly sunny & warm; High in the upper 70s; Low in the lower 50s
The first half of May has been unseasonably chilly, but the second half of May will likely average above normal. We begin this pattern reversal this weekend. We expect plenty of sunshine today with a pleasantly warmer afternoon.
A warm front will be developing to our northwest during the Sunday and Monday period. There will be some shower activity for the High Country, but coverage will be limited and rainfall amounts are expected to remain light. There will be quite a bit of cloudiness, however.
A stray PM shower or thundershower will be possible Tuesday into Wednesday, with a mix of clouds and sunshine.
Thereafter, we appear to flip the script right to our late spring/early summer regime. Skies will be mostly sunny for Thursday and Friday, with temperatures running between 5 and 10 degrees warmer than normal.
