Running Out of Superlatives

There are 49 synonyms for "glorious" on thesauras.com. I'll go with "dazzling" today. Whatever you call it, I hope you find a way to get outdoors and enjoy this day. We keep "dazzling" weather into the weekend. Temperatures are a couple degrees warmer today through Thursday, then a couple degrees cooler Friday. We'll add a few clouds this weekend.

Forecast Discussion

The weather map in the Southeast U. S. is as quiet as a mouse. A dry front moves through from the north Wednesday morning without noticeable effect.

High pressure rules through the weekend; however, we'll have a more moist southerly flow that will add a few clouds beginning Friday afternoon. That moistening trend continues and may produce a couple of light mostly afternoon showers Monday.

The tropical Atlantic is active but storms are not a threat to landmasses in the foreseeable future. Same is a major hurricane east of the Leeward Islands. It turns NW then North and passes east of Bermuda late this week. The remnant of Peter is currently east of Bermuda and may regain some strength. Two tropical depressions are farther southeast in the Atlantic, and both of them probably become named storms in the next two days. Teresa and Victor will be the names.
