Photo for July 1, 2015

Almost missed the close encounter of Venus & Jupiter this evening (Monday 6/29/15) as they were setting behind some trees in the western sky from our place. 4 moons of Jupiter also showed up in the shot. Tuesday evening they are reportedly to be even closer together, so worth a look indeed! Across the sky was a super sharp moon. Both images with a 300mm lens, but most any lens will catch this event.
