The next round of showers (maybe a thundershower mixed in) comes Saturday night into Sunday.

Forecast Discussion

A front zipped through Tuesday evening on it's way to Florida tonight. Cold high pressure centered in the Great Lakes presses the last cold shot (for the foreseeable future, looking into April) into the Southeast. Tonight is much colder. Thursday is chilly. Skies become clear today, and clear sailing continues into early Friday. Thursday night, valleys will be cold again.

Last night's front could be the last front we see for a while. High pressure settles into the Atlantic and will extend into the Southeast. It will block fronts from the west and north; however, there will be a front to our west and another to our north early next week.

Gradually warmer weather commences Friday. Some fog is possible Friday night on a moist southerly flow. Saturday has mostly cloudy skies; then showers (maybe a thundershower) will be scattered around the region Saturday night and Sunday.

A shower might linger into Monday morning, but the rest of Monday looks pleasant. Warm weather continues Tuesday, but the fronts just to our west and north provide just enough of a trigger to mention isolated showers and thundershowers.
