Lots of Clouds but Little Rain
This evening and tomorrow will feature a lot of clouds but little in the way of rain. Temperatures cool even more tomorrow. Thursday will be a day of steady rain although not particularly heavy. Temperatures remain chilly. Skies clear Friday and temperatures turn cold for the first time in awhile for the weekend. The cold shot is short lived though as mild temperatures return early next week.

A slow moving cold front will gradually move across the region tonight. The front stalls just to our south and temperatures cool behind it tonight. Spotty light rain will continue tonight and Wednesday as a wave of low pressure rides along the front.
Another wave of low pressure rides along the stalled front Thursday bringing a steadier rain. The rain will not be heavy though. Colder air begins to work in Thursday night and the rain may turn to sleet before ending. The sleet shouldn't be a big deal though.
A cold front blasts through Friday morning clearing things out. The air behind this front is very cold and it will be windy Friday. This will be a shock to the system after the long stretch of mild weather. The weekend is cold but spring time temperatures return early next week.
